While Norbury's has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, some guests mention that during peak times, especially Saturday lunch hours, seating can be limited. This could lead to missed opportunities to try the most popular dishes as they sometimes may run out.
Another point of contention is that certain items, particularly baked goods, tend to sell out quickly—especially during busy weekends. Visitors have expressed frustration at not being able to enjoy specific pastries they've had their heart set on. Lastly, a few patrons noted that the café's popularity can lead to a mildly hectic atmosphere during peak hours, which may not suit everyone looking for a relaxed dining experience.
Just minutes after opening, lovely quiet Saturday morning, we stop for delicious coffee and cakes. It is the best place to buy real sourdough bread and cakes to enjoy at home. Their bakewell tart and scones are the best I ever had. Every thing is made there, our scones were still warm. Service is excellent, poeple are smiling and clearly enjoying working there. I love calm and serene atmosphere. Next time we will try some of the brunch dishes.
Honestly, THE best place in Lynn for coffee and lunch :) great quality coffee, great cakes, and great sandwiches. Highly recommend getting bread to go too (when it's not sold out - it does go quick!) Overall lovely atmosphere and service. Huge asset to the town to have an independently run place like this.
Excellent breakfast and even better coffee, my wife said the hot chocolate made with oat milk was the best she's ever had. We bought a sourdough loaf to take home and this was also very good. Very friendly staff and customers. Will definitely be going back when we next visit kings Lynn.
Delicious freshly baked bread really makes the sandwiches here. We also enjoyed the freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and jam. The tea is loose leaves and is a unique blend. Great prices for a high quality experience. We can't wait to return on a visit to Kings Lynn. The staff are great and it is family run. A top bakery café that the local people are supporting which is great to see.
I popped in for a light bite, but as it was rather late in the day, I had missed out on most of the cake options. Fortunately, what was left was delicious, I chose an almond and blackberry cake slice and a suffolk tea blend...tea and cake in other words. The staff were very friendly, and the service was quick, but I did just have tea and a cake, so I can't comment on larger, more substantial food options. The aesthetic and atmosphere is excellent, and as a testament to this, a variety of age groups were at the cafe at the same time as me, all clearly enjoying their experience. There is also a small deli counter, which offers local cheeses and preserves, I can personally recommend the blueberry jam!
